December 2015, Marie Gabrielle moved to Cozumel, the island of the Goddess Ixchell.
A seasoned watercolour painter who also did drawings for children, Marie Gabrielle has artistic training but little practice during her teaching career.
The discovery of the Mayan culture was a revelation. The many vestiges create a special atmosphere that are very unique to this island.
By participating in several Temazcal and other ancestral cultural rituals, magic happens, Ixchell fascinates her, inspires her and transcends her !!
The native culture is rich and ubiquitous in Mexico, within sight for those who want to see it.
Marie Gabrielle began her research, scribbling characters and symbols. Then, the first paintings were born.
